Revolut is introducing an attractive savings account feature for its Romanian customers, enabling them to earn up to 4.25% annual interest on RON deposits. This feature is accessible directly through the Revolut app, providing flexibility with instant access, anytime top-ups, and withdrawals, with interest being paid out daily.

Revolut has designed this savings account feature to be inclusive, catering to the needs of all its customers regardless of their plan. The annual gross interest rates are as follows: 2.50% for Standard and Plus users, 3% for Premium, 3.75% for Metal, and an impressive 4.25% for Ultra plan holders. This tiered interest rate system ensures that a broad spectrum of customers can benefit from competitive returns on their deposits, with the opportunity to upgrade their plans for higher rates.

This development marks Revolut’s continued effort to diversify its banking offerings in the Romanian market, transitioning from zero-interest accounts to potentially lucrative savings options. Customers now have the opportunity to see their savings work more efficiently for them, with the added convenience of managing their funds through Revolut’s digital platform.

The move aligns with Revolut’s broader strategy of providing comprehensive financial services that cater to the evolving needs of its user base, reinforcing its position as a leading fintech company in the region.
